Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work? What's the process?

It's really simple! Here’s an overview of the whole process:

  1. You upload your word processing file. File formats?

File formats: Microsoft Word 2000 is the file format we prefer, but we can handle just about any word processor file that you have.

  2. We edit first half of your dissertation and email a document back to you. Document format?

We provide you with a new Microsoft Word 2000 document with everything formatted correctly, including: margins, spacing, table of contents, and page numbers.

  3. You pay for the work completed. Payment methods?

Payment methods: We accept checks (allow about a week for processing) or PayPal (from your credit card, debit card, or bank account).

  4. We edit the rest of your dissertation and email it to you.
  5. You pay the balance and then tell all of your fellow students about how great we are.

How fast are you? What's your turnaround time?

We’re fast, but we also have a waiting list. So, it might take from 1 to 3 weeks to get to your dissertation. We work on a “first come, first served” basis.

Current waiting time: 7 days

How do I pay you? What payment options do you offer?

We accept checks (allow about a week for processing) or PayPal (from your credit card, debit card, or bank account).

When we finish the first half of your dissertation, we will wait to receive payment for the work completed before we continue with the second half. When we’re all done, we will be expecting the rest.

What about confidentiality?

We maintain strict confidentiality. Your files are stored securely on our network. We won’t talk about it to anyone else. We promise!

Which word processor file formats do you accept?

You’re probably using Microsoft Word. That’s our preferred software for editing, since you can see the changes we made each time we edit your dissertation. But we also support a variety of other word processor file formats. If we have trouble opening your document, we'll contact you.
